Learn German at language level A1 (beginners)

Visit our German A1 course at the Klartext e.V. language school in Munich-Maxvorstadt! You will learn the basics of the German language. The course is intended for people who do not yet speak German or only know a few words.

What do you learn in the A1 course?

Speaking: You will learn simple sentences to introduce yourself and talk about yourself. For example: Your name, your age and where you come from. They talk about topics such as work, family, leisure and the weather.
Understanding: You practise understanding simple conversations. For example: asking for directions, shopping in the supermarket or communicating about an apartment, furniture and electrical appliances.
Reading: You read short texts, for example signs, simple e-mails or job advertisements.
Writing: You learn to write simple sentences. For example, a message to a friend, a short note or an apology for school.

Aims of the course

At the end of the course you will be able to hold simple conversations in German. They can make appointments, talk to the doctor and understand simple information. You will learn to read and write basic texts. This will help you cope better in everyday life.

In addition to the ability to speak, basic knowledge of grammar, simplelistening and reading comprehension and writing skills for the first texts are conveyed. At the end there is an internal school module test.

The course is ideal for anyone who wants to make rapid initial progress in German.

A1 German course costs & dates

How much does an A1 German course cost?

Price: 458 € per module, i.e. 916 € for A1 complete (without repetitions)

COURSE DURATION:

A1 is divided into Module A1.1 and Module A1.2
100 teaching units (45 minutes each) per module
A1.1 and A1.2 therefore comprise 200 teaching units

COURSE TIMES:

You can choose between a morning course, an afternoon course or an evening course.

Morning course:

Monday – Friday
9:30 – 13:30 (presence)
5 teaching units per day

Afternoon course:

Monday – Friday
14:00 – 18:00 (presence)
5 teaching units per day

Evening course:

Monday – Thursday
18:30 – 21:00 (presence)
3 teaching units per day
