Our company profile
KLARTEXT eV – the language school for German, work and culture, founded on January 1st, 1983, is a non-denominational, free, independent educational institution that offers language courses in German as a foreign or second language for young people and adults with a migration and refugee background.
As a non-profit association, KLARTEXT eV is managed according to the principles of social relevance, profitability, market orientation, employee participation, environmental protection, professionalism and efficiency.
Good networking is fundamental to our charitable work. We are therefore in close cooperation and professional exchange with our clients, other sponsors and other institutions in networks and working groups.
We value a modern, cosmopolitan profile in public relations that conveys our quality, professionalism and service orientation.
Our quality management
We always keep an eye on the expectations and wishes of our customers as part of our quality management system. The results of our work are regularly evaluated and documented using standardised tests, participant surveys and statistics. They flow into the further planning of measures and the continuous improvement of our processes. We regularly demonstrate the quality of our work through certification in accordance with ISO 2001:2015.
Our offers
The aim of our offers is the linguistic, social and professional integration of our participants in the training and job market and thus the enabling of unrestricted participation in social life.
We offer a differentiated, varied program with varied and efficient knowledge transfer, which is based on the interests, needs and possibilities of our participants. Our offer ranges from literacy courses to general language, general job-related and job-specific German courses.
“Language” comes from “speak” – so we put a special emphasis on oral communication without neglecting the other skills.
In our German courses, young people and adults from different countries with very different life experiences and educational backgrounds come together, with and without physical and mental disabilities.
We see this diversity as an opportunity to set a counterpoint against exclusion, racism, sexism, fundamentalism and nationalism in our work and to stand up for interculturality and equal opportunities. Equal rights for people of different genders, different religions and different sexual orientations are a matter of course for us.
Our customers
Our participants appreciate us as a competent, reliable training partner who shows them interest and understanding and supports them holistically by helping to strengthen their technical, communicative and methodical skills. As part of our cultural program, artistic, organizational and gastronomic talents can also be brought in.
It is particularly important to us to provide our participants with competent and needs-based advice. Our conscious customer and service orientation is the basis of our qualitative work with the people who want to learn from us. In addition to our participants, our customers include state and municipal institutions that contribute to the financing of further education as part of the promotion of disadvantaged people and integration, as well as companies that want to offer their employees the opportunity to improve their language skills.
Our team
Our employees in organization and administration, socio-pedagogical support and teaching have many years of pedagogical and intercultural professional experience, state qualifications, commitment and openness to innovative forms of work and projects. Through their professional work, they create the foundation for the quality of our offers. Regular team meetings and employee appraisals ensure networking and transparency in the institute. Thanks to our participatory management style, every employee can get involved in the key decision-making processes and thus actively participate in school design. Klartext eV supports the team with further training offers, supervision, appropriate remuneration and space for personal initiative.
