Did you earn your engineering degree abroad and would like to work in Germany?

In the two modules— Construction Planning and Construction Site—which can be booked separately, we teach civil engineers, architects, and technicians practical German for working in the construction industry and in architectural firms.

You will acquire technical vocabulary and practical skills for your workplace, thereby improving your prospects in the job market.

Course Objectives

➔ Improving communication skills in everyday working life
➔ Expand your knowledge of the country-specific processes in everyday working life

Course Format: German Course for Architects and Civil Engineers

The courses are held online via videoconference and are supplemented by a learning platform where the course materials are made available.
Course load per module: 12 evenings, 4 instructional units each = 48 instructional units (1 instructional unit = 45 min.)

Class Times

Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. (15-minute break)

Requirements

  • You have completed an apprenticeship or a degree program in architecture or civil engineering abroad.
  • You have an engineering degree in civil engineering or architecture.
  • You have a B2-level proficiency in German.
  • You have good Internet access via PC, laptop or tablet.
