By receiving the telc Deutsch B2 certificate, you can prove that you can express yourself clearly and in detail and that you can debate and negotiate successfully. You have a large vocabulary in your own specialist area and on most general topics. You have a fairly good command of grammar.
The telc Deutsch B2 exam consists of a written and an oral part.
The written exam takes two hours and twenty minutes. For ninety minutes, your reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar skills are tested. Listening comprehension takes twenty minutes and in the last half hour you have to write a text on a specific topic.
The oral exam can take place on the day of the written examination or on another day. After twenty minutes of preparation, you will take part in a dialogue with another candidate and present a given topic. You have fifteen minutes to do this.
If you pass the exam successfully, you will receive a certificate showing that you have reached level B2 in all skills. You can use the certificate to prove your language skills as an applicant or to your employer. An advantage for your CV!
